Healing Work

As a Reiki Master and intuitive healer, I offer Reiki alone or in combination with intuitive healing.

I see the healing work I do as a profoundly spiritual endeavor and as a collaboration with you.  In laying my hands on your body, I bring to you a universal healing energy whose essence is unconditional love.  This loving energy flows through me into you and to any of your energy centers (or chakras) where the flow is weak or blocked.   Your body absorbs this healing energy and uses it to revitalize and balance the chakras. 

In the course of the session, as the chakras rebalance, most people experience deep, soothing calm and relaxation, as well as relief from physical and emotional discomfort and stress. Some also gain intuitive insight and clarity about how to proceed in their lives. I consider it a great honor to be able to offer you love and energy which you can use to achieve the physical, emotional and spiritual healing you desire. 

I also offer intuitive healing: while doing an energy healing session as I’ve described above, I also intuitively seek information about how your physical or emotional discomfort relates to painful situations in your life.  I then work with you to discover ways to restore and maintain the natural flow of your life’s energy through your chakras, so that you will be able to move toward achieving your life goals.

I offer healing sessions at a rate of $50 per hour.

How I conduct a healing session:

When you come for an energy healing session, you will lie on a Reiki table (similar to a massage table), on your back or side, fully clothed.  Your only job during the session is to relax, with your eyes closed. I do the rest! 

During the session, I serve as a conduit to channel powerful Divine or Universal healing energy to you.  I direct this energy by placing my hands either on or adjacent to your body at certain spots.  (There is no manipulation of muscles or pressure; I simply rest my hands on or above your body.)

The energy flows into your body and finds its way to whatever energy centers are experiencing blockages, surges, or energy loss. If you have told me that you are experiencing pain or discomfort in a certain area, I give those spots special attention. (Our bodies contain seven major energy centers, sometimes referred to as chakras, plus dozens of minor centers.  When energy flow through any of these centers becomes unbalanced, the body alerts us through intuition, physical discomfort, or disease.)   

During the session you may feel heat or cool or nothing at all where my hands touch your body, but no matter what you feel or don't feel, the energy is flowing.  What you most likely will experience during a healing session is deep calm and relaxation, as well as relief from physical or emotional discomfort.  Many people report that they feel increased positive benefits in the days following a session. Some even experience bursts of insight concerning their lives and relationships with others, insight which guides them to make positive decisions about the course of their personal relationships, career or spiritual  path.
